Read a bit more about the House!
In TNH we have a few different ranks that you move through as you rank up.
Our trial members go under the name of Hatchlings.
They pass their trial by being dedicated, following the rules, and fitting in well with the rest of the House, as well as taking a test called the Hatchling Test where you are asked to perform a list of essential moves from memory, and be able to perform them with good technique.
Upon passing the test, they achieve the rank Fledgling, the stage where young birds begin to drop their fuzz and grow feathers. After becoming a Fledgling, they get another two levels full of moves to work on. These will also be tested on in order for Fledglings to rank up.
These are our Intermediate members.
Then there is the coveted title of Nightingale, the Advanced-Elite members of the House who have completed all of the tests! They are then automatically on the competition team having proved themselves in their dressage.
Members of the Fledgling rank are also capable of competing, however the Nightingales get dibs on routine spots.
Royal Nightingales are part of the Council, and have a job similar to that of the elders in a tribe. They give out advice, help with making decisions, and provide support. They can also lead the club if Loopy is away.
This rank is not achievable by any form of testing.
Lastly, there is the owner, hi that's me! I prefer to be called a leader. I may make some hefty decisions but I am as much a member of the House as the rest of the family.
I help out with the Instructing, host events, manage our social medias, and with the help of the Nightingales, have an awesome time!
